| Hi, my name is April, and yes i was born in April, 3rd to be exact, so mark your calendars (GO ARIES!). I was born in the Philipines, moved to New Zealand, then to California. I've lived in LA all the way to San Francisco ( mostly in San Jose). Today i live in Japan, where i am continuing to follow my dreams and study art. Modeling is a side effect of my artistic nature. My passions are Art and Dance, but along the way i found many opportunities in modeling to express myself artistically and used modeling as a tool to advance my performance skills. I love to model because i enjoy photography, fashion, visual designs, make-up, and because I'm attention craved! I'm very involved in the production aspects of photography and print work as well as being the subject. I have a genuine interest in almost everything about the industry inside and out. Modeling is a great job for those that really love it, and any model knows that it doesn't always pay off at first. Thats why the ones that are dedicated to it as an art eventually have more value to the industry than the tall and beautiful girls. What makes me stand out the most in this industry is undoubtedly my unique personality. I think people are interested in me because i have so many other skills, talents, and aspirations. Its refreshing to many in this industry that i am not just another pretty face. Some of my other hobbies include Muay Thai kicboxing, Salsa dancing, Clothing design (sewing), graphic design, and teaching dance. My goals in Modeling is to become an icon of the artistic modern day Model. I want to create my own team of powerful, intelligent, and talented models and have them be recognized as personalities, not just faces. Bad Aby and i are teaming up to create out own fashion line. I plan to partner with magazines like Soap Magazine in creating new and improved online entertainment. I also hope to work with my modeling inspirations before my time is up. I especially hope to inspire young females with great personalities to work hard at following their dreams and know that anything is possible. April Syrup |
